David J. Hebert – Director
David Hebert’s diverse background includes yoga, skydiving, ground launching, marksmanship, skateboarding, snowboarding, hiking, meditation, gardening, building and remodeling and much more! A 2006 graduate of Bikram’s Teacher Training, he has maintained a steady practice of Bikram yoga for many years and instructed at several Bikram schools. His passion to bring this healing yoga to others led him to build Mile High Bikram Yoga in 2008. He is dedicated to bringing health, nutrition, wellness and environmental awareness to his community.

David is also an experienced General Contractor and Professional Skydiver. For over 7 years, he has worked as an aerial videographer and photographer, tandem instructor and was a member of Team Mirage, a high performance parachute team. As a member of the U.S. Parachute Team, he won a bronze medal at the World Cup of Canopy Piloting in 2003. He also took third place in 2005 at the World Ground Launching Competition. You may even catch him flying down a rogue mountain somewhere unexpected. David’s 15 years of experience in world class competition also includes representing his home country of Canada in international competition as a member of the Canadian Target Rifle Team. These experiences have taught him to be extremely focused and determined.
Bikram Yoga initiated a complete life change for David and he is a firm believer in the philosophy and benefits as it has improved every aspect of his life. He thoroughly enjoys teaching and wants to help people understand what is required to bring the mind, body and spirit into balance in order to realize full potential.
Joseph Lee – Instructor
I began the practice of Bikram's Yoga in 1996 and was immediately taken by the duality of this most dynamic and transformational yoga. (Kill yourself, take care of yourself... Use 100% of your strength, relax completely...etc.) Some of the unexpected benefits I experienced were more restful sleep, improved energy, elevated moods, better digestion, healthier skin, dramatically improved immune function, radiant skin, deep satisfaction/accomplishment, and a strong sense of community. Of course, my expectations of improved flexibility, increased muscle tone and definition, better balance and mental clarity were greatly surpassed. Working as a hairdresser for 20+ years had taken it's toll on my body. Bikram's Yoga completely eliminated the ware and tear of standing on hard surfaces, poor posture and long strenuous hours.
In 2003 made the decision to attend Bikram's Teacher Training, taking my interest, love and passion for yoga to the next level. Since receiving my certification I have been blessed to lead classes in Colorado, NYC, Miami and Dublin. I believe my teaching style honors of the "magic" of the 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. When leading class, I strive to bring awareness to the many intricate and sometime subtle details of this demanding and life-changing practice.
